NOTICE OF CASUAL VACANCY

I herewith give notice of a vacancy for a Parish Councillor arising from the disqualification from office of Councillor

Unless ten electors of the Parish give written notice to the *Proper Officer of the District Council within 14 days# after the date of this notice requesting an election to fill this vacancy, the Parish Council may be able to fill the vacancy by co-option by the Parish Council, awaiting Government guidance.

If an election is called, it will take place on the ordinary day of election in May 2021; currently Thursday, 6 May 2021.  This delay is due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as per The Local Government and Police and Crime Commissioner (Coronavirus) (Postponement of Elections and Referendums) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020.
