Notification of highway maintenance works on the A5 near Long Buckby
 
I am writing to let you know about essential maintenance works, which will commence 18th February 2019 for approximately 2 weeks, at the following locations:  
 1) On the A5 at its junction with B4036 Long Buckby Rd / Three Bridges Rd (Long Buckby Wharf).
 2) On the A5 at its junction with Daventry Rd (Norton) / Whilton Locks. 
 
For safety, we will put in place temporary traffic lights during the works.  We will carry out the work during daytime from 9.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.  The road will be open as usual outside of these times.  
 
Please note that all planned works are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will do our very best to complete the work as quickly as possible, keeping disturbances and noise to a minimum.
